University of Padua students, faculty and staff enjoy special rates to the activities offered at the University Sports Centre (CUS Padova).  CUS Padova organizes courses, events, and tournaments that promote sporting practice in various athletic disciplines.

  Cus Free Memberships

As part of its efforts to promote well-being and sports, and with the aim of encouraging widespread participation in both competitive and non-competitive sports by students and staff at Cus sports facilities, the University is supporting a registration campaign offering free membership to Cus for the current year to the entire university community.

Becoming a member of CUS Padova grants access to a wide range of activities, services, and spaces for competitive and non-competitive sports, as well as recreational activities for all ages (fitness courses, urban dance, athletics, etc.).

Membership allows access to free activities during specific time slots, using Cus facilities (such as athletics, five-a-side football, tennis, basketball, volleyball), as well as discounted rates for paid activities like various courses.

Access to activities is governed by the Cus regulations available on the website .

  No-Pay Activities

FG²¶Óã students, with their CUS membership, have the opportunity to access the facilities for free and participate in various activities at specific times of the day. In particular:

  • Running (Mon-Fri, 9 AM–9 PM)
  • Outdoor five-a-side football (Mon-Fri, 9 AM–5 PM)
  • Basketball (indoor: Mon-Fri, 9 AM–4 PM; outdoor: Mon-Fri, 9 AM–5 PM)
  • Tennis (Mon-Fri, 8 AM–2 PM)

  FIDAL Membership with Cus (Athletics Section)

University staff and students who wish to participate in competitive sports events organized by the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL) or its official affiliates can request official FIDAL membership with Cus Padova at any time during the year, for a fee of €30.

  CUS Summer Centres

Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 9 am the official registrations for the CUS Padova Sports Summer Centres, now in their 33rd year of activity, will open. Discounts of up to 32% for children of UNIPD employees and students.

Membership
Registration for the Summer Centres requires the participant to become a member of CUS Padova, with a one-time cost of €15.00. Membership includes basic and supplementary insurance, a Summer Centres t-shirt, and a discount voucher to use at the Club House of the facilities. A sports medical certificate, even non-competitive, is required for participants aged 6 and above.

  • University sports facilities at via J. Corrado no. 4 (born between 2009 and 2020)
  • University sports facilities at via G. Bruno no. 27 (born between 2011 and 2020)

At the via J. Corrado location, the following projects are also active:

  • Inclusive Summer Centres, to promote sports practice among children and teenagers with disabilities. For more information, write to segreteria@cuspadova.it
  • Youth at the Centre, an initiative aimed at boys and girls aged 14 to 16, to help them socialise and have fun with greater autonomy, gradually assisting the operators in organising various activities.
