Tai Chi Chuan and Well-being at the University
The aim of the Tai Chi Chuan courses is to create a path oriented towards the conscious integration of body-mind-spirit and environment, enhancing psychophysical well-being and harmony between one's inner world and the surrounding environment through the ancient practice of Tai Chi Chuan.
The Tai Chi Chuan courses are intended for teaching and research staff, management and technical-administrative staff, research fellows, doctoral candidates, and students of the University of Padua.
Since 2017, 24 editions have been carried out (15 basic courses and 9 advanced courses) involving 543 people.
The courses (basic and advanced) are mainly held outdoors and, in case of bad weather, indoors, always in university spaces, or online, twice a week (before work or during lunch break), and are typically offered in the period:
April – June.
