New Multipurpose Rooms Inaugurated at Palazzo del Capitanio

After completing the refurbishment work on the former classrooms, A.I.S. 1 and A.I.S. 3, the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Pedagogy, and Applied Psychology, along with the Philosophy Library, now have two rooms available. These rooms are dedicated to students both as study rooms and as multipurpose rooms for seminars, conferences, or outreach activities organized by the Department and the Library.
The goal was to expand the availability of study spaces, providing comfortable and equipped environments for third-mission meetings and moments of shared study and research.
The A.I.S. 1 and A.I.S. 3 rooms respectively accommodate 16 and 28 seats, and have 57 and 69 linear meters of shelving containing the library's volumes. By relocating part of the Library's material, more space has been made available for the collections on open shelves, thereby improving service possibilities for users.
