March 31: Removal of abandoned bikes and scrap at Padua Station

Many people leave their bikes near Padua Station for an extended period, or even permanently, leading to the degradation of the area and, consequently, the city.
Therefore, to improve urban decor and combat this degradation, a major cleaning and reordering operation of the bike parking areas in front of the railway station has been scheduled for March 31, 2025.
All bicycles parked irregularly or in a clear state of abandonment will be removed. Informative notices and prohibitions have already been placed near the bike racks and parking areas to inform the public in advance and allow bike owners to take appropriate precautions.
The operation will be conducted by the?Local Police, who will act according to current regulations, applying the provisions of the Highway Code and the Urban Police Regulations for civil coexistence in the city. Any?penalties?may be imposed in cases of confirmed violations.?All bike owners must therefore verify the correct placement of their bikes and remove those parked non-compliantly.
This is a concrete action to restore decorum and order to public spaces, encouraging responsible use of infrastructure dedicated to sustainable mobility.
