Lecturer mobility with Switzerland

Since 2014 the University of Padua has joined the Swiss European Mobility Programme (SEMP) with agreements that provide for the mobility of lecturers from the University of Padua to Swiss universities.

Who can participate: lecturers, including those on contract, from the University of Padua.

Duration of the period abroad: minimum 2 consecutive days of activity (travel excluded) and 8 hours of teaching per week (or shorter stay) - maximum 60 days (travel excluded).

Contribution: the contribution in CHF calculated in a manner similar to the EU tables (travel + individual support) is paid to the participating lecturer directly by the Helvetic University.

Modalities of participation: the Padua lecturer must contact the International Office of the Swiss University that will host him/her directly, provided that an inter-institutional agreement has been previously signed between the two universities (see list of flows at the bottom of the page).

Application deadline: applications may be submitted (once per academic year) between 1 June of one calendar year and 31 July of the following year, directly to the Swiss host university.
