Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching in Europe - KA131
Europe (KA131)
The Erasmus+ Programme supports teaching staff with mobility grants for short teaching periods abroad at Higher Education Institutions in the Program and Partner Countries. The list of eligible Countries for the academic year of reference, complete with active flows with the institutions that have signed a inter-institutional agreement with the University of Padua, is available at the bottom of the page.
Who can apply: teaching staff (including adjunct professors) of the University of Padua. In the case of researchers recruited with PNRR/NP fund, they can participate only if they do not have other European funds intended for International Mobility, this to avoid any double funding.
Duration of the period abroad: according to the Erasmus Guide, there is a minimum 2 days and a maximum of 60 days (excluding travel time). During this time, there is a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week (or any shorter period of stay). However the call is limited to a maximum period of 14 days including travel days.
Grant: according to the tables of the Programme. It varies according to the travel distance between the University of Padua and the receiving institution, the living costs in the destination country and the duration of the stay. It may also be supplemented by the University.
If the expenses actually incurred are higher than the assigned EU grant, the exceeding part may be supplemented by the Teaching Staff member with its own funds.
Health Insurance Coverage: For Health Insurance Coverage during the external mobility in European Union member states and in Ireland, Liechtenstein and Norway, generally speaking, it is sufficient to bring with you the European Sickness Assistance card (EHIC) issued by the ministry of health. Non-EU citizens registered and dependent on the National Health Service (SSN) cannot use the TEAM in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as it is not provided for by current community legislation (EC regulation 859/2003). They are therefore invited to contact their local health authority (ASL) in any case. Non-EU citizens not registered with the SSN must obtain adequate health coverage.
