
Space Ethics
The Summer School in "SPACE ETHICS" is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and critical thinking skills to address the ethical challenges posed by humanity's increasing presence in space. This programme is ideal for Bachelor's, Masters and PhD students who want to shape the future of space exploration in a thoughtful and responsible manner.
Core topics covered in the course include applied ethics, space debris, dual-use space technologies, space settlement, and mega constellations of nanosatellites. Complementing the academic curriculum, a series of collaborative tasks, field trips and social activities will provide immersive experiences with Italy's scientific history and future university opportunities:
- Group work and final presentations to present research findings
- 2-day trip to the Astronomical Observatory on the Asiago Plateau, with guided astronomical observation
- Visits to historical sites related to Galileo Galilei, the father of modern science
- Networking events

The fee includes: ÌýAll lunches and coffee breaks,ÌýSocial dinner,ÌýThe 2-day trip to the Asiago Obervatory (meals, round-trip transportation to/from Asiago, and overnight stays at the observatory guesthouse).
