Reinforcement Learning and Large Language Models for Robotics

Summer school

The Summer School in "REINFORCEMENT LEARNING AND LARGE LANGUAGE MODELS FOR ROBOTICS" is designed to equip PhD students, and young researchers with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills combining artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics.
Recent advancements in robotics, driven by reinforcement learning and large language models, have enabled robots to perform complex tasks and engage in more intuitive human-robot interactions. This summer school explores the convergence of these fields, aiming to shape the next generation of robots that can both learn and communicate in innovative ways.
This week-long school will bring together academic experts, industrial researchers, and emerging scholars to explore the transformative potential of combining reinforcement learning (RL) with large language models (LLMs) in advancing robotic systems.
Participants will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through hands-on sessions with real robotics platforms, where they will apply RL algorithms and refine LLMs. This experience will offer valuable insights into addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by these advanced technologies in real-world environments.
