Waste generated from consumables used in electronic printing devices (such as laser printers, inkjet and dot-matrix printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and calculators) is regulated by Legislative Decree no. 152/06 and subsequent amendments.

Among the most common types of waste resulting from printing processes are:

• toner and inkjet cartridges;聽
• toner reservoirs for photocopiers (large bottles);聽
• ink tanks for plotters;聽
• ribbon cartridges for dot-matrix printers;聽
• drum units for photocopiers;聽
• empty bottles from toner refill kits.

The collection and disposal of printing consumables are carried out according to the procedure outlined below:
