The inauguration of the 2023/2024 academic year, marking 802 years since the founding of the University of Padua
The official inauguration of 迟丑别听802nd academic year of the University of Padua聽will be proclaimed on February 9, 2024 at 11 a.m., by聽Rector Daniela Mapelli聽in the Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio.
The ceremony welcomes Italian and international rectors, the academic community, and local authorities as per FG捕鱼鈥檚 centuries-old traditions.
The ceremony opens with a speech by the Rector, followed by statements from 迟丑别听Minister of Justice.
Scheduled speeches include those by聽迟丑别听Director General of the University of Padua, Alberto Scuttari听补苍诲 迟丑别听President of the Student Council, Emma Ruzzon.听笔谤辞蹿别蝉蝉辞谤听Simone Montangero聽offers the inaugural address with a lecture on "Einstein, the Mona Lisa and the quantum revolutions".
With a musical performance by the University of Padua鈥檚聽Concentus Musicus Patavinus.
The ceremony is accessible to the hearing impaired thanks to the addition of an Italian Sign Language interpreter.
